I can’t believe that I’m actually coming on here in swimsuits, let alone two pieces!! After busting my tail feather on my first round of the FASTer Way to Fat Loss I’m finally confident enough to wear a two piece after having my third baby two years ago. Sure things aren’t perfect and I’m guilty of beating myself up at times over my “flaws” but progress over perfection so here I go. Each year I like to buy at least one new expensive swimsuit that I know will last me year after year. This is my first year after my breast augmentation so I’m pretty much starting fresh this summer.
One of my major goals this year is to feel like my strongest self. It’s still early in the year but I’m feeling confident enough to wear two pieces again and I think I found the perfect ones. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m looking for high rise because after having babies my least favorite part of my body can be my lower belly and that’s the last thing I want to think about while at the pool/beach.

This first suit is my splurge that I’m keeping. I absolutely love that it’s all black and I can mix and match these pieces with other suits. I also love the cut of this. The straps are skinny and can be easily pulled off for minimal tan lines. I sized up to a large in the suit after trying the medium I felt the large offered a tad more coverage. The bottoms pictured are a small and definitely squeeze in areas I don’t want so I’m exchanging these for a medium. For reference I usually wear a 26-27 in jeans depending on the fit and can even get away with a 25 if there’s a lot of stretch.

Um, how many times can I say no?? But really! The bottoms are way too big. I’m wearing a medium and would size down probably 2 sizes here. The top is also a medium but the fit is just so unflattering I can’t stand it. NOPE! I’m only showing this because I want to be completely honest and share the good, bad and the ugly and for me this is both bad and ugly. Steer clear ladies!!
This suit is such a steal!! So flattering and comes in a variety of colors. The reviews said that the bottoms ran small and to size up and I’m so happy I did! The top of the waistband is actually loose but the bottom band is definitely snugger. I’m wearing a medium bottom and love the fit. The top is a D/DD and fits like perfection!
This suit is an off white color and I absolutely adore the color blocking detail. It’s definitely a splurge suit but it’s absolutely gorgeous. I did worry that it could potentially be see through when wet so I didn’t end up keeping this. I’m wear a medium in the top and small in the bottom and would prefer a medium in the bottom for sure as this fits the same way as the black suit.
I love how the bottoms of this suit fits!’ These are a medium and don’t squeeze in unwanted areas! The top is cute, I got the D/DD but when the straps are off it felt like it could slip down which made me pass. I will say with the straps it felt completely secure.
I had seen this suit about a month ago or so and knew I had to order! Y’all, it’s better than I could imagine and is definitely a favorite of mine! I have the D/DD top which ties in the back as well as a small in the bottom and I love the fit of both. Run and get this suit before it sells out!!!!
Visor– sun protection is the key y’all! And this visor is perfect to protect your face from the sun.
Miller sandals – a splurge for sure but so worth it. I literally wear these with EVERYTHING during the spring/summer.
Straw bag– how cute is this?!?! It’s the perfect size to fit what’s important.
Birkenstocks– I’m def a birks girl and these are perfect to wear to the beach/pool.
