Destressing after a long week

This past week has been MAYHEM!  Between having painters in and out of the house, dealing with a teething baby, and having my husband crazy busy with work I decided I was due for a pampering night.  I’m not able to get away as easily with three kiddos, so I decided to treat myself at home.  I picked a few of my favorite face masks, nail polish, wine and trash tv to make my night relaxing.

I am a face mask junkie but some of my favorites are the Tula’s exfoliating treatment mask, Laneige lip sleeping mask, and Wilmaschumann eye pads.

I start with a nice clean face and then apply the Tula’s face mask.  One of the reasons why I love this mask is that it’s only a 5 minute mask.  I’m a busy mom of three kids so having something I can do from start to finish without getting interrupted is key! I also really enjoy the exfoliation that this mask provides.  It’s very gentle but also helps my skin feel fresh and renewed.

Next up are the Wilmaschumann collagen eye pads.  These stay on a bit longer at 20 minutes, but they plump my under eye area right up.  I’m not going to lie, I do have a slight tingling sensation with these, but it’s nothing crazy so I figure it’s just doing what it’s supposed to.  When I remove them my eyes look brighter and more awake.

Between the eye mask and lip mask I went ahead and finished my daily night time routine.  If you want more info click here for the deets.

My last mask that I apply for the night is the Laneige lip mask.  Holy hydration batman!   At $20 run and buy this!!  I will say that I received this product free from influencer however I do plan on buying when I run out and I’m also very interested in their overnight face mask.

I’m a big multi tasker, so while I wait the 20 minutes with the collagen pads on I decided to do my nails.  I am obsessed with the Essie Gel Couture brand in, make the cut.  Not only does this polish, along with the couture top coat, last without chipping for days but it dries super quickly!  And I mean quickly, by the time the eye pads timer was up I was able to peel them off without worrying about any smudges.

Now all this beauty stuff is fun, but it wouldn’t be quite as relaxing without a glass of wine and my sweats. (Just keeping it real with y’all!) Whether it’s a glass of wine or a cup of tea find what relaxes you and make sure you take time for yourself after busy days or busy weeks.

So cheers and enjoy!!
